Care
It's essential to take care of your stone furniture, each piece of furniture has a sealant coat, however, by following these guidelines, you can ensure that your stone furniture stays in exceptional condition for a lifetime to come. Natural stones are porous, therefore it is really important to be careful when putting anything on the stone as it can be easily damaged.
- Regularly dust stone with a soft cloth or microfibre dust brush
- Do not use any rough brushes, steel wool, textured clothes or hard bristles, as they can scratch/damage your stone
- Small marks or stains can be removed with a lightly damp, soft cloth and diluted mild soap, dry thoroughly straight afterwards
- Any soap or cleaning product with acidic ingredients can leave marks and eat away a layer of the stone, leaving an indentation that is not removable
- Do not use hot water, boiling water, bleaches or hard chemicals on the stone
- As the stone is completely natural, light can cause discolouration and change the colour tones if in direct uv light for a long period of time
- Coasters are essential as condensation from water glasses can cause etching on the stone and leave a permanent mark
- Our coffee tables and side tables are not designed as seating or engineered to hold weight over 2kgs
- Our coffee tables and side tables can NOT hold human weight and could collapse if someone was to sit on it
- Our furniture range between 45kgs-110kgs, when moving them around your home, please do not drag or slide across the floor as they could chip and break. They require multiple people to lift in to desired space
